Dear YQI Community,
Today, our Institute is turning 10!
We hosted our very first YQI Colloquium that day on 2014, welcoming Krysta Svore from Microsoft for a talk on “Probabilistic Quantum Circuit Decomposition”. We did not have our current space at the time and were hosted by Physics in Sloane Lab!
Since, we moved into our space at 17 Hillhouse, grew from 12 to 29 research groups, hired 10 YQI Fellows, hosted 576 events, published 2,100+ peer-reviewed articles… And looking at the near future, YQI will grow and move to the new PSEB, which broken ground last week!
