The Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) is a consortium of stakeholders that aims to enable and grow the quantum industry. QED-C was established with support from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as part of the Federal strategy for advancing quantum information science and as called for by the National Quantum Initiative Act enacted in 2018.
The Yale Quantum Institute and QuantumCT are offering all Yale Students, Researchers, and Faculty a QED-C membership. The member website provides access to:
- Technical Advisory Committees which drive much of the work that is done by QED-C
- Funding Opportunities
- Events organized or sponsored by QED-C
- Find People provides information about other members and their roles in the global quantum supply chain
- Reports published by QED-C
- Quantum Marketplace linking suppliers of quantum technology with customers
- Blog containing posts by members about topics of interest to QED-C
- Quantum Jobs page listing quantum job openings and student internship opportunities.
