We are delighted to welcome our 2021 YQI Fellows: Jahan Claes and Yiyu Zhou!
- Jahan received his PhD in condensed matter physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has worked on quantum computing at NASA Ames and QC Ware. He is joining Professor Puri’s group to advance error characterization and adn work on error correction in biased-noise qubits.
- During his PhD at University of Rochester, Yiyu focused on the experimental realization of applications in quantum and nonlinear optics. He is joining Professor Tong’s group to work on nonlinear integrated photonics.
