Preparing Connecticut’s Students for the Quantum Economy
A first-of-its kind effort to engage students from across Connecticut in the fields of business, policy, and law in conversations about an economy driven by quantum technologies, and provide them with an opportunity to help plan Connecticut’s quantum future.
QuantumCT is partnering with industry, university and community partners to host the Quantum UP! Challenge between September 24 and November 1, 2024.
Through a series of educational events, and strategy challenges, our goals are to:
- Introduce students of diverse backgrounds and disciplines to new career opportunities offered by quantum technologies
- Engage local leaders in conversations about the potential impact of quantum technologies on business operations and to our daily lives
- Challenge students to think critically about the ways in which quantum technologies could be most beneficial to business and society
Challenges are focused on industry applications of quantum technologies, and questions pertaining to intellectual property, regulatory provisions, and safety and security.
