I want to bring your attention to the Frontiers in Quantum Materials and Devices conference, sponsored by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, together with the Harvard-MIT-Howard Center for Integrated Quantum Materials (CIQM), and the Heising-Simons Foundation. The conference will be held this summer (Jun 20-24, 2022) in the beautiful city of Valencia, Spain (my home town!), in a great venue right next to the beach. I attach below the fantastic set of invited speakers and a couple pics from Valencia. It should be a very exciting event. Please visit the conference web site (https://www.fqmd-2020.com/) to learn more about the conference.

Please encourage your students and postdocs to submit abstracts (with priority given to abstracts submitted by Apr 17) and attend the conference. We have secured partial travel/registration support for CIQM students/postdocs as well as for the registration costs of women students/postdocs, via generous support by the Heising-Simons Foundation. We anticipate securing more resources to help cover the registration costs of other students/postdocs.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Valencia!

Pablo
