CT SEED - Call for Volunteers!

Are you passionate about STEM and want to inspire the next generation of engineers?  Volunteer for CT SEED (Connecticut Students Exploring Engineering Day) to introduce middle school students to engineering disciplines and design processes through hands-on activities.

The GradSWE Chapter at Yale is hosting CT SEED on Saturday, March 23rd and needs enthusiastic volunteers to serve in a variety of roles, from group leaders, to activity volunteers.  You can help a middle school student learn about electronics through a light-up keychain or guide students through brainstorming designs for a kidney dialysis challenge.   All volunteers will be trained, so no outside experience is required. More information is presented below:

CT SEED (Connecticut Students Exploring Engineering Day)

  • Saturday, March 23rd, 8:30am to 2:00pm (Sloane Physics Laboratory, Yale University, 217 Prospect Street, New Haven, CT)

  • Training will occur either on Friday, March 22nd (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm), or Saturday, March 23rd (7:30am – 8:30am)
