Yale Postdoctoral Fellowship in Quantum Information Theory

The quantum information theory group (Shruti Puri and Steven Girvin) in the Yale Quantum Institute seeks outstanding applicants for a postdoctoral position as part of an interdisciplinary project exploring theoretically and experimentally the near-term creation and application of QRAMs (quantum random access memories) and related topics. The start date is flexible. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in the physics and/or computer science of quantum information and computation. Applications should include a CV with publication list and outline of research interests, and may also include up to four selected preprints and reprints. Candidates should arrange for three recommendation letters. Please submit all materials, including recommendation letters, to http://apply.interfolio.com/87460. Early applications are encouraged.

Applications and letters will be considered at any time until the position is filled but must be received no later than November 1, 2021 to guarantee full consideration.

Yale anticipates being fully open for (essentially) normal operations beginning September 1, 2021, but accommodations can be made for a remote start if Covid-19 circumstances warrant.
