We are seeking two Software Engineering Interns to join our team for an exciting summer project focused on quantum computing education. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of interactive tools that will help demystify quantum technologies for a broad audience.

About the Project
Our mission is to make quantum computing accessible to students and educators by creating an engaging, user-friendly web platform. This summer, you’ll help build:
  • A frontend website that delivers interactive quantum computing lessons and visualizations.
  • A backend quantum circuit simulator that supports hands-on experimentation and learning.
What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop clean, responsive UI components for a quantum education platform.
  • Implement APIs and core logic for a lightweight quantum circuit simulator.
  • Collaborate with researchers and educators to translate complex concepts into intuitive tools.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing practices.
Qualifications

  • Experience with modern web/backend development (e.g., React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Node.js, or similar).
  • Familiarity with basic quantum circuits, quantum SDKs (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq), or educational content development.
  • Interest in quantum computing and science communication.
What You’ll Gain
  • Experience building real-world educational software.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge research in quantum computing.
  • Mentorship from a cross-disciplinary team of software engineers and quantum scientists.
