Event description:

Featuring philosopher, physicist, and feminist scholar Karen Barad, this event will celebrate the reveal of two custom-made Niels Bohr double-slit experiment objects with a brief discussion and demonstration before their journey through the Yale campus. Attendees will be able to witness first-hand how light can behave like a wave and a particle and will be able to influence the nature of light by their mere observation. The experimental suitcase objects, designed as portable, pedagogical tools, were designed and fabricated by Yale architecture students Roy Kim and Wai Hin Wong in collaboration with CCAM Director Dana Karwas and YQI Manager Florian Carle.
