The Importance of Mentoring and its Role in Human Development
During this session lead by Michelle Nearon, Senior Associate Dean & Director of Office for Graduate Student Development and Diversity, we will explore the significance of mentoring in academia and professional development. Specifically, we will discuss the roles of a mentor, why mentoring is important, two types of mentoring, and two approaches to mentoring.
