“The Bystander Intervention Workshop is a 90-minute workshop that aims to build an environment of respect and inclusivity on campus, by helping participants identify behaviors reflective of sexual disrespect and develop skills to address and prevent troubling sexual or romantic dynamics or unprofessional behaviors. Participants will learn how to recognize situations that show signs of sexual disrespect and develop concrete skills for addressing those situations. Additionally, through the discussion of disrespecting behaviors, participants will explore the ways in which cultural norms are set in a community, and the ways in which they can be changed to be more supportive and inclusive.”
