Event description:
Women in Quantum Information (WIQI) is a biweekly lunch series (every first and third Thursday of the month) hosted hosted by women of YQI for women graduate students, postdocs, faculty and research scientists in the Physical Sciences. This series is particularly targeted towards women in low-energy physics, where the gender-ratio is fairly skewed.
YQI mandate is to foster a welcoming environment for all its students and researchers, and we are delighted to support this initiative, and offer a permanent location and provide lunch to all the attendees.
