Tenure Track Assistant Professor Faculty Position
Experimental Quantum Information Science

The Department of Physics & Astronomy (http://dornsife.usc.edu/physics) at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, renowned for its vibrant and world-class research in quantum information sciences, is hiring a tenure-track assistant professor in Experimental Quantum Information Science anticipated to start in the fall of 2017. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in physics or a related field. Areas of specialization may include a wide range of experimental techniques such as quantum optics, cold atoms, trapped ions, quantum dots, Josephson devices, and other quantum coherent systems. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to build their laboratory as well as a deep understanding of both the underlying physics and experimental methodology.
