We have established programs encouraging a welcoming environment for all, and respecting groups and their individual members: Physics Open Mic empowers students and postdocs by giving them a platforms to voice their ideas, the Women In Quantum Information group promotes an inclusive environment for women in the field, and the speakers for our outreach programing are invited with gender parity and racial diversity in mind to give attendees a correct representation of the field, and challenge unconscious bias.
