We are excited to announce the launch of the newly created Yale Undergraduate Quantum Computing (YuQC) group!

Founded by Shantanu Jha ‘21, YuQC is an academic organization formed to promote and facilitate the participation of undergraduates in quantum information science at Yale. The group will focus, depending on students’ interests, on developing open source projects and tutorials, organizing and hosting quantum hackathons, building a graduate student mentorship program, and many more activities of outreach and collaborations.

The student group is currently advised by Steve Girvin and Florian Carle, and YQI is proud to sponsor this student initiative.

If you are interested in being involved, please consider attending their kick off meeting on Sunday Nov 22 at 1 pm.
