Dear STEM friends and colleagues,

On the concluding day of 50WomenAtYale150, the year-long celebration showcasing the depth of women’s contributions to Yale and to the world, I write to invite you to a virtual screening of the vitally important and timely documentary, “Picture A Scientist.” The critically acclaimed film ”tells the stories and experiences of challenges faced by three women in science, revealing their experience navigating systemic, structural discrimination and harassment in their research communities.”

My office is sponsoring free streaming of this film from October 2nd – 5th. Registration is required here. After you register, you will be provided the streaming link, and you can view the film anytime during the streaming period. Please register no later than 9 am on October 2nd.

I hope you will join together with me in viewing this important film and continuing our discussion as a community, as we work toward a culture that is more diverse, equitable, and open to all.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Brock
