Postdoc Fellowship - Erwin Schrödinger Center for Quantum Science & Technology (ESQ)

Dear Colleague,

We would like to draw your attention to the Erwin Schrödinger Center for Quantum Science &
Technology (ESQ,), an Austria-wide research initiative including a Postdoc Fellowship Program.
ESQ is funded by the Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy. It is hosted by the Austrian Academy of Sciences, in close collaboration with the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Innsbruck.

Currently, ESQ unites 28 member groups in Innsbruck and Vienna, working at the forefront of both experimental and theoretical research, focused on the foundations of quantum physics, quantum optics and quantum information processing. Research opportunities exist in emerging technologies around quantum computing, simulation, many-body physics, communication, sensing and metrology. The quantum systems of interest comprise photons, ultra-cold atoms and molecules, trapped ions, nanodiamonds, superconductors, complex biomolecules, levitated nanoparticles, nanomechanical devices and hybrid quantum systems.

ESQ is now calling for applications for postdoc fellowships in these research areas.

These 2-year employment in Vienna or Innsbruck are open to experienced researchers of any nationality with an outstanding research track record in Quantum Science and Technology, who can contribute substantially to the goals of ESQ within its pool of intellectual capacity and research infrastructure.

For details on research, eligibility, employment conditions and application forms please see www.oeaw.ac.at/esq

With best regards,
Markus Arndt, for the ESQ team
