The Yale Quantum Institute presents Prof. Seth Lloyd’s Specialized Talk:
“Building Hamiltonian Quantum Computers”
Hamiltonian quantum computation is a method for encoding any quantum computation in the ground state of a quantum system. This talk shows how Hamiltonian quantum computation represents a natural method for constructing large-scale quantum computers. The example of superconducting quantum information processing is used to investigate methods and constraints for constructing Hamiltonian quantum computers.
