Bob Migliorini is a Senior Business Development Associate in the Intellectual Property and Licensing Group at Yale Ventures. He supports activities leading to the commercialization of technologies invented at SEAS: identification of transferable technologies, development of commercialization strategies and negotiation of licenses and collaborative R&D agreements. For this training, Bob will present an overview of Intellectual Property for researchers (patents protections and limitations, jurisdictions…) and will give you concrete steps to protect any new inventions you might have developed in your research (disclosure of inventions to the Yale Ventures, establishing claims, patents timelines, how to present new ideas to the APS March Meeting…).
