Open faculty positions at IST Austria! We are currently inviting applications for TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR and TENURED PROFESSOR positions to lead independent research groups.
IST Austria, located in Klosterneuburg on the outskirts of Vienna, is an interdisciplinary research institution that aims to break down the traditional boundaries between disciplines. The focus is currently on basic research in the physical sciences, the formal sciences, and the life sciences. IST Austria fosters both theoretical and experimental research, with an emphasis on close and meaningful collaborations between the two camps. By 2026, up to 90 research groups will perform research in an international state-of-the-art environment. In addition, IST Austria has a Graduate School with an international student body, and English as a working language.
