Yale Undergraduate Quantum Computing

The Yale Undergrad Quantum Computing is an undergraduate academic organization formed to promote and facilitate the participation of undergraduates in quantum information science at Yale.

Activities includes networking, resources sharing, projects, events, and hosting the YQuantum Hackathon…

Women in Quantum Information Group

The aim of WIQI group is to promote an inclusive environment for women in the field, by creating a platform where young women scientists can voice concerns and seek advice. Moreover, we also seek to increase retention of woman students in quantum through activities like lunches, panels and workshops.

Superconducting qubit faculty weekly meeting

A group of faculty members working in the topic of superconducting qubits is meeting weekly at YQI North to foster collaboration between the theorists and experimentalists researchers.

Physics Open Mic

Physics Open Mic is an informal lecture series by and for graduate students and postdocs.

One student present on a science topic of their own interest, with lots of snacks! Want to talk about wormholes and entanglement, or about how the new amplifier in the lab works? At the open mic, you can talk about whatever science excites you, and we all get to learn!

Talks should be accessible to a general physics audience, and the topic does not need to be related to your own research.

MLS Research Group

The Monday Lunch Seminars are talks given every Monday at 1 pm by graduate students, postdocs and professors from Qulab and RSL (with occasional invitations to researchers from Girvin, Glazman, Rackich, Prober and Puri’s groups). These group meeting presentations last around 90 minutes (60 min talk, 30 min questions), and allow researchers to debate, evaluate, and exchange on new ideas in the field of superconductive qubits. A strong emphasis is given to debate and questioning of the results presented.
