LPS is seeking to hire an experienced researcher for a career in program management, focusing on quantum computing research. This would be a permanent staff position, and thus must be filled by a U.S. citizen. In brief, this job would entail tasks such as: identifying promising areas of research, performing extensive deep dives into particular research areas, developing new program ideas, starting new programs, monitoring progress as programs progress, interacting with researchers, briefing and summarizing technical progress, writing technical reports, managing budgets etc.
