Capri Spring School 2017

“13th Capri Spring School on Transport in Nanostructures 2017”, which will have a special focus Solid-state quantum information processing. The school will take place as usual on the Capri Island, Italy from April 23 - 30, 2017. The lecturers for the upcoming school are:

This one week school will provide several lectures by leading experts supplemented by a few shorter seminars.
As usual, the conference venue is Centro Multimediale “Mario Cacace” of Comune di Anacapri, and accommodation will be provided in nearby hotels. While the school is primarily aimed at instructing PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers, more senior scientists who want to acquaint themselves with the subject of the school are also welcome.

The school comprises five working days (April 24 - 28). The registration fee of 800 Euro includes accommodation in a double room for seven nights from Sunday till Sunday; five dinners, starting with a welcome dinner on Sunday, twice daily coffee breaks at the conference venue and the excursion to Ercolano.
Single room accommodation is possible at a surcharge of 350 Euro.
Accompanying persons in a shared double room can be accommodated for a rate of 500 Euro —this covers accommodation for seven nights, five dinners and the excursion.

Fourteen fellowships for first and second year PhD students with a topic of their doctoral thesis closely related to the school focus will also be available. The fellowships cover half of the school registration fee for standard accommodation in a shared double room.
